Polypropylene fabric
Polypropylene fabric is a durable, lightweight, and impact-resistant material used to produce sacks, big bags, tarps, covers, and other types of industrial packaging. It is durable, moisture-resistant, and versatile.
The fabric is manufactured on equipment from Starlinger (Austria), a recognized world leader in polymer processing. Years of experience, unique technologies, and in-house developments have made the brand a symbol of reliability and high quality.
Only high-quality components and additives are used in the production process. The fabric is created on modern circular weaving machines: FX 6.1 (HD), FX 8.0, and FX 10.0 for big bags (MKR), and Alpha 6.0 for sacks.
Our production capacity allows us to produce up to 3,500 tons of fabric monthly.
The addition of a UV stabilizer makes the polypropylene fabric resistant to sunlight, and the amount of the stabilizer is strictly regulated and controlled.
Product quality is confirmed by laboratory testing, where the fabric is regularly checked for tensile strength, UV resistance, and other characteristics.
Polypropylene Bags with Liner
Sacks made of PP fabric are one of the most versatile and popular types of packaging.
Our in-house full-cycle production allows us to produce polypropylene bags of various types and sizes, including both classic stitched bags and valved box bags.
Manufacturing of Big Bags (soft containers), wagon liners, and liner bags
Various types of UV-stabilized polypropylene fabric are used for sewing big bags. Fabric characteristics are selected based on the container type, the required load capacity, the cargo characteristics, and the transportation and storage conditions.
For the production of single- and double-sling containers, fabric with a density of 120–160 g/m² and a sleeve width of 120–160 cm is used. The most common option is a 150 cm sleeve with a density of 140 g/m².
For the load-bearing portion of four-sling big bags, fabric with a density of up to 200 g/m² and a width of up to 210 cm is used.
For individual structural elements of soft-sided containers (hatches, lapels), fabric of lower density, including laminated versions, is often used.
Polypropylene liners for railcars and containers (liner bags) are used to protect cargo transported in open vehicles from adverse environmental conditions and spills. Fabric with a density of 90–140 g/m² is used for production.
Manufacturing of Tarpaulins, Canopies, and Shelters
Tarpaulins and canopies made of PP fabric are designed for repeated use and stable performance even in difficult weather conditions. They are used in construction and warehouses for temporary shelters, to protect agricultural products, and as covering material for equipment and various cargo.
Use in construction and furniture manufacturing
Polypropylene fabric is used as a waterproofing and vapor barrier in roofs, walls, and foundations.
In road construction and landscaping, it is used as a geotextile.
During drilling operations, fabric flooring prevents soil contamination.
In furniture, PP fabric is used as a universal upholstery material for upholstered items.
Advantages
Polypropylene fabric is widely used in various industries due to the following advantages:
- Excellent strength and wear resistance, long service life;
- Multifunctionality, ease of processing and use;
- Environmentally friendly, safe for people and the environment, recyclable;
- Production of materials with the required parameters: density, size, color, etc.;
- Printing is possible.
