Machine stretch film
Machine stretch film is a packaging material designed for automated or semi-automated securing of cargo on pallets. It provides reliable stabilization, protection from moisture, dust, and damage, and speeds up the packaging process in warehouses and on production lines.
Machine stretch film is used for packaging with various types of equipment and is divided into three categories:
- Semi-automatic
- Automatic
- High-speed automatic
Film for semi-automatic packaging
Semi-automatic film is used in semi-automatic pallet wrappers, where both active and passive stretching of the material is possible. Passive stretching is achieved by varying the film feed speed and platform rotation.
There are three series of this film:
- M (Machine) — a durable film suitable for packaging cargo of all categories (A, B, C). Thickness: 17–35 µm, guaranteed pre-stretch: 150%.
- UM (Ultra Machine) — a thin film (12–15 µm), similar in strength to the M series. Designed for cargo categories A and B. Guaranteed pre-stretch: 120%.
- SM (Stiff Machine) is a thin, rigid film (11–12 microns) with a stop effect and high holding power. Suitable for categories A, B, and C. Guaranteed prestretch of 70%.
